Micha V Jackson
Dr Micha Jackson is an applied ecological scientist with an extensive background in wildlife research and monitoring in Australia and overseas. She aims to provide science-based information and tools to decision-makers and managers to support improved environmental outcomes and healthy wildlife populations. Micha joined CSIRO in 2023 and currently undertakes research on waterbirds and shorebirds including movement ecology, evaluation and avian flu preparedness. She is also a member of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership Shorebird Working Group and the Past-President of the Society for Conservation Biology Oceania.
