Samantha Tonissoo
I work within the Impact Assessment and Management team, Fisheries Queensland, within the Deparment of Primary Industries and Fisheries.
Most recently I have been involved in a major update of a statutory instrument used to authorise particular types of waterway barrier works. I found this project to be challenging, interesting and rewarding. It is anticipated that the outcomes achieved will assist stakeholders to implement remediation works for erosion control and improvement of fish passage at existing waterway barriers.
In my spare time I enjoy adventuring in the outdoors - camping, dirt bike riding, wild swimming and mountain climbing!
